BUYER PROCESS FLOW CHART

The following chart outlines the steps most homebuyers will end up taking from Home Selection all the way to Closing. This visual will help you understand the common elements of purchasing a home. No two transactions are the same, so there may be some variation specific to your experience.

For example: If you are a cash offer buyer, most if not all of the lender steps will not be necessary. Or, you may find yourself in a competitive bidding scenario; whereby, given the home is in good shape you may opt to waive the inspection.

This overview will give you some idea of how long your home-buying experience can take in Phase 1 (can be from one day to a much longer time depending on each unique buyer and situation)

Phase 2: Approximately 30-45 days from Contract to Close
