Serving the community affords me the opportunity to meet new people, and see what's happening and why in our community. It also allows me to pitch-in and carry part of the load with other leaders and contributors who are committed to seeing Colorado Springs and surrounding communities thrive. Subsequently, I serve as a Business Partner for CASA, am on the CASA Circle of Impact, Board Member for the BBB, AHA Circle of Red Member, Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Tri-Lakes Economic Development Committee Board Member, and Pikes Peak Association of Realtors Leadership Academy.

Why do I mention this? Because it's important to know your Realtor is not bunkered in their home or office all the time. To know the pulse of the community: what new developments are coming online - where economic improvement and revitalization efforts are happening -  where the real value is - what economic factors and influencers are indicating - you have to be involved!

Plus, the more networking you do, the better the chances of you learning and hearing something that might just benefit the next home buyer, investor, or home seller. Here are a handful of projects that are near and dear to my heart. If you have similar interests, ask me how you too can get involved! Marquesa@ColoradoHearthstone.com

Casa

CASA of Colorado is near & dear to my heart.

Marquesa is proud business partner and also serves on the Circle of Impact.

CASA of the Pikes Peak Region is a nonprofit organization that trains and supervises volunteers to represent the best interests of victims of child abuse, neglect, and severe domestic conflict. CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for these children in court and in the community. The desired result is that children be placed in safe, loving homes where they can thrive.
