Experts in housing have released their expectations for 2024 and it can help you start to strategize if you are considering buying or selling.

They are predicting that home prices across the United States will end 2023 up 2.8% and rise another 1.5% in 2024. Home prices are expecting to keep climbing next year.  Real Estate continues to be a great way to build wealth and stabilize your cost of living expenses, especially since rent continues to rise.

They also predict that home sales will continue to rise in 2024.

As many buyers are starting to feel more comfortable with the economy and interest rates, we are seeing them re-enter their home search.  Interest rates are stabilizing and there are several options to assist buyers with interest rates and other innovative programs.

• I have many buyers who are currently using rate buy-downs as an option to help get a lower interest rate thus a lower mortgage rate.
• Down payment assistance programs are another option for some potential buyers, and I have had several clients utilize these programs.
